ITINERARY

DAY 1 - Arrival & Provisioning
Fly into Beef Island International Airport (EIS) in the BVI’s. Taxi to the marina. Spend the day exploring Tortola. Final shopping & provisioning. Meet up with the rest of the crew for dinner and a pre-departure briefing.
Spend the night on the catamaran in the marina.
DAY 2 - Hodge's Creek to The Baths
We begin our journey at Hodge's Creek Marina and set sail toward The Baths on Virgin Gorda, famous for its towering granite boulders, hidden grottos, and crystal-clear pools.
Spend the afternoon exploring this natural wonder or relaxing on the white-sand beaches before enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars.
DAY 3 - The Baths to Anegada
Sail to the stunning coral atoll of Anegada, known for its unspoiled beauty and vibrant marine life.
Lounge on secluded beaches, savor freshly caught lobster, and explore the island’s unique salt ponds and flamingo habitats.
DAY 4 - Anegada to Guana Island
After a leisurely morning, journey to the private paradise of Guana Island.
Snorkel in turquoise waters teeming with tropical fish, hike scenic trails, or unwind on pristine beaches while soaking in the serene ambiance of this exclusive retreat.
DAY 5 - Guana Island to Jost Van Dyke
Cruise to the lively shores of Jost Van Dyke, home to world-renowned beach bars like the Soggy Dollar and Foxy’s.
Enjoy a mix of island nightlife, snorkeling, and the laid-back charm that defines this iconic destination.
DAY 6 - Jost Van Dyke to Soper’s Hole
Sail to the colorful harbor of Soper’s Hole on Tortola, where boutique shops and waterfront cafes await.
Spend the day exploring the charming marina or relax aboard the yacht with stunning views of the surrounding hills.
DAY 7 - Soper’s Hole to Norman Island
Head to the legendary Norman Island, the inspiration for Treasure Island.
Snorkel in the famous caves, explore hidden anchorages, and enjoy an unforgettable evening at the floating bar and restaurant, Willy T.
DAY 8 - Norman Island to Hodge’s Creek
We conclude our adventure with a relaxing sail back to Hodge’s Creek Marina.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Getting to your sailing adventure in the British Virgin Islands is simple and seamless. Guests flying from the U.S. or Canada can conveniently arrive at Beef Island International Airport (EIS) on Tortola. Major airlines offer connecting flights through hubs like San Juan (Puerto Rico), St. Thomas (USVI), or Antigua, ensuring plenty of options for your journey.
Upon arrival at EIS, you’ll be just minutes away from Hodge’s Creek Marina, our departure point. We recommend scheduling your arrival by mid-afternoon on embarkation day to allow ample time for transfers and boarding.
For departures, plan for flights leaving after midday on your final day to accommodate the return sail to the marina and smooth transfer back to the airport. Need assistance planning your travel? EXPEDITION HQ
THE BALI 5.4 CATAMARAN
The Bali 5.4 catamaran will be the main control centre during the expedition. A versatile boat - perfect for exploration, speed, and comfort. Six cabins, AC, Six full heads, sleeps 14, stove, fridge, hot water. Plenty of deck space to lay out on too.

FREEDIVE TRAINING
As an add-on option, you’ll get the basics of freediving and will become an autonomous freediver - able to explore the underwater world comfortably. You’ll learn to practice freediving safely, what happens with your body when you hold your breath, how to dive more efficiently, and how to handle freediving mentally, and how to hold your breath longer. By the end of the course, you should be able to dive safely and comfortably using various disciplines.

WEATHER
The British Virgin Islands enjoy a year-round tropical climate, making it a perfect sailing destination at any time. Temperatures typically range from 77°F to 88°F (25°C to 31°C), with refreshing trade winds keeping the conditions comfortable both onshore and at sea.
Winter (December to February): This is the high season, with steady easterly winds averaging 15-20 knots, ideal for sailing. Temperatures are slightly cooler, and rainfall is minimal, making it a prime time for sunny, breezy days.
Spring (March to May): Winds remain consistent at 10-15 knots, and the weather is warm and dry. The crowds begin to thin out, providing a quieter atmosphere while still offering perfect conditions for sailing and exploring.
Summer (June to August): Expect calmer seas and lighter winds averaging 10-12 knots, with occasional afternoon showers. This is a fantastic time for snorkeling and diving, as the waters are warm and visibility is excellent.
Fall (September to November): While this is the rainy season, showers are typically brief and followed by sunshine. Winds are lighter, making it a great time for relaxed cruising and enjoying the lush, green landscapes.

Upon arrival in Tortola, we will shop for groceries and provision the catamaran for the week. Our Wednesday night meal will be on shore at Staniel Cay Yacht Club. All other meals will be aboard the catamaran.
